Oeuvre figurative monochrome d'un paysage réalisé avec une approche inspirée du sumi-e. De ce décor épuré se dégage un calme serein. Bien que le format de l'oeuvre soit petit, le regard plonge dans la profondeur du dessin. Les textures subtiles créées par le jeu de l'eau avec l'encre donne un aspect naturel aux éléments du paysage. On y retrouve deux des thèmes chers à l'artiste : les montagnes et les arbres.

Mountains 225
Monochrome figurative work of a landscape made with a sumi-e inspired approach. From this refined decor emerges a serene calm. Although the format of the work is small, the gaze plunges into the depth of the drawing. The subtle textures created by the interplay of water with ink give a natural look to the elements of the landscape. We find two of the themes dear to the artist: the mountains and the trees.
