Un résident de la région du Kamouraska y voyait le dessin d'un cabouron, comme on en retrouve dans cette région, au pied duquel on voit une ferme agricole.
Réalisé à l'encre de Chine et d'inspiration sumie, la composition spontanée du dessin émerge progressivement au fil des formes tracées. Les éléments figuratifs sont issus d'une gestuelle minimaliste. Seuls les traits essentiels servent à la création de l'oeuvre.
En faisant intervenir l'eau de façon propice sur le papier, l'artiste provoque les réactions spontanées de l'encre pour intégrer aux différents éléments du paysage des motifs naturels.

Mountains and wall of rock
A resident of the Kamouraska region saw the drawing of a cabouron, as found in this region, at the foot of which we see an agricultural farm.
Made in Indian ink and inspired by sumie, the spontaneous composition of the drawing gradually emerges over the shapes drawn. The figurative elements come from a minimalist gesture. Only the essential features are used to create the work.
By involving water in a favorable way on the paper, the artist provokes the spontaneous reactions of the ink to integrate natural motifs into the various elements of the landscape.
